Writers Journey

Tara Bell fell in 'book love' at the age of ten with Prince Caspian by C.S. Lewis, the 2nd book of The Chronicles of Narnia. The library on the navy base in San Juan, Puerto Rico, did not have the rest of the series, and it was not before she and her family returned to Virginia that she could finally read all seven wonderful books.

Now residing in West Virginia, Tara, her husband, and cat, love nature, gardens, and watching birds. People inspire her too, and stories form. Stories from Caribbean caves, the villages of the ancient ones of the Southwest, and a ghost haunting a Spanish city. Tara enjoys writing for middle grade and young adult readers.

Tara's latest project has been joining her writing group who combined their

talents to tell a story about eight survivors of a high school shooting. Four authors share a story to be launched later this summer by Sunbury Press.
